Catherine_Winter
Cathy Winter – Cathy is the Project Leader, DiverseCity onBoard at the Maytree Foundation where she works with agencies, boards and commissions in the GTA to connect qualified visible minorities to governance positions in the non profit and public sectors, thereby changing the face of leadership in our city/region.  Prior to joining Maytree, Cathy was a Senior Manager in the Ontario Public Service (OPS).  Her last 14 years were spent at the Office of Public Guardian and Trustee where she was the Director of Client Services and Deputy Public Guardian and Trustee.
Cathy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Mount St. Vincent University in Halifax, a Masters of Economics from York University and a Masters of Industrial Relations from University of Toronto.
Cathy is a Member of the Allocations and Agency Services Committee of the United Way of Toronto Board of Trustees, a Member of United Way of Toronto’s Agency Review Panel, and serves on numerous United Way of Toronto committees.  She is also a Member of the Board of Directors of the Anne Johnston Health Station, where she chairs the Nominations Committee and is a Member of the Strategic Planning and Quality Committee.

Chilton_Ng Chilton Ng – Chilton Ng is the Manager of Enterprise HR Reporting Operations at RBC. He has over 5 years of management experience in financial services with expertise in business strategy, operations, and enterprise business intelligence.

He is very passionate about helping youth and frequently volunteers for organizations such as Let’s Talk Science, Junior Achievements, and the Juvenile Diabetes and Research Foundation. Chilton holds a BASc in Industrial Engineering, MBA, and license to practice professional engineering (P.Eng.) in the province of Ontario.

 

Nick_Yeo Nick Yeo – Nick is a self-styled global nomad, having lived in Canada, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand. Nick has previously worked for TakingITGlobal, ReelWorld Film Festival and Higher-Edge – which has taken him on a journey through youth issues, diversity and international education. His experiences include all forms of fundraising, corporate sponsorship, internal & external communications efforts, media relations, strategic planning and event management. He most recently managed the online community at CharityVillage.com, helping convene Canadians working in the nonprofit sector. Nick sits on a number of boards, including the Children’s Own Media Museum, TakingITGlobal and Old School Muay Thai.

Nick is a member of the Emerging Leaders Network since 2007 and has participated and led numerous city-building projects. In 2009, he chaired the Diversity working group and helped develop the Living Library with the Toronto Public Library. As the co-Chair of the elnStudio 2012, he helped organize and facilitate a day-long event for 200 thinkers, leaders, conveners and doers from across the GTA. Nick has also presented at several international conferences including the Cisco Public Services Summit, Tech Awards and OECD’s International Workshop on Building Citizen Centered Policies & Services.
