Nga Dinh serves as Vice President of Programs and Engagement at NAAAP Toronto, bringing a rich blend of creative leadership, community engagement, and lived experience to the chapter’s executive team. Of Vietnamese descent, born in Hong Kong and raised in Canada from a young age, Nga identifies as Canadian and grew up in low-income environments that shaped her resilience, determination, and lifelong pursuit of learning. Her journey with NAAAP Toronto includes previously serving as Director of Events from 2014 to 2017, where she helped build meaningful, inclusive programming that strengthened member connection and impact.

Nga holds a double major in Kinesiology and Physical Education and Fine Arts from Wilfrid Laurier University and is currently completing her postgraduate studies in art therapy at the Toronto Art Therapy Institute. Across her professional, academic, and volunteer work, she has contributed to a wide range of sectors including finance, entertainment, broadcasting, healthcare, education, arts and culture, and community services. Her involvement spans organizations such as the Blue Jays Care Foundation, SickKids Foundation, Royal Ontario Museum, Toronto District School Board, Etobicoke Children’s Health Centre, YWCA, WWF, Toronto Flying Tigers Volleyball Club, Future Possibilities for Kids, Street Haven Women’s Shelter, and Meals on Wheels.

An accomplished freelance artist specializing in pop surrealism, Nga has exhibited her work in shows and galleries across Canada. Her long-term goal is to guide others through art therapy as a pathway to healthier mental states, increased joy, and safe spaces for creativity and self-expression. Outside of her leadership and creative pursuits, Nga enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending Blue Jays games, creating art, and embracing spontaneous adventures.
