Sonia thrives on stepping out of her comfort zone and embracing novel experiences. With over a decade of experience as a strategic leader, she has successfully managed various business projects. Starting her career as a management consultant, Sonia collaborated with leaders to navigate uncertainties. She then realized the importance of combining her business acumen with data for more insightful decision-making at the executive level, she applied coding and data to her analysis and completed a Ph.D. in Management.

Shifting gears, she transitioned to entrepreneurship, establishing her startup in the UAE and Iran. This move allowed her to fully leverage the wealth of ideas and expertise gathered over the years, shaping them into the foundation of her own business.

Driven by a love for sharing knowledge and fostering education, Sonia extended her influence to academia, teaching at the university level and contributing to textbook editing.

In her pursuit of personal and professional accomplishments, she became a guiding force for others. By offering support to immigrants, she assisted newcomers with staying focused while providing the tools and resources to facilitate success on their terms.

As a NAAAP Toronto leadership team member, Sonia is determined to make a meaningful impact on Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) in the workplace.  She aims to cultivate a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.
