
Nga is of Vietnamese descent and was raised in Toronto’s inner city which fostered her resilience, determination and quest for knowledge. Nga previously served as Director of Events for NAAAP Toronto from 2014 - 2017. Through her work, studies, non-profit work and volunteering, she has been involved with many organizations and sectors including: The financial district, the entertainment district, broadcasting, Blue Jays Care Foundation, SickKids Foundation, Royal Ontario Museum, Toronto District School Board, Etobicoke Children's Health Centre, YWCA, WWF, Toronto Flying Tigers Volleyball Club, Future Possibilities for Kids, Street Haven Women’s Shelter, and Meals on Wheels. Her eclectic experience allows her to bring a wealth of knowledge to NAAAP Toronto. She is also a freelance artist who has shown her work in various galleries and art shows throughout the GTA. Her specialty is pop-surrealism.
Nga Dinh graduated with a double major in Kinesiology and Physical Education and Fine Arts from Wilfrid Laurier University. Currently, she is completing her postgraduate studies of art therapy at the Toronto Art Therapy Institute (TATI). Her goal in life is to use her experience and expertise to guide others using art therapy as a means to improve healthier mental states, increase enjoyment of life and provide a safe space for creativity and self-expression. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending Blue Jays games, creating art and going on random adventures.
