Being a part of NAAAP Toronto has made a remarkable difference in both my professional and personally life. I have developed skills that I will continue to use and made friendships that will last a lifetime. NAAAP is truly an organization that provides everyone with the opportunity to become leaders within our community, not just the Asian American community but also the mainstream North American community. As NAAAP continues to expand its programs, there will be something for everyone regardless of profession or where you are in your career. Through the events, attendees are able to network socially and professionally and meet a diverse group of people from different professions, different education, different cultures, different backgrounds. You never know where these new NAAAP connections will lead you, the opportunities they provide, and the doors they open.

I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work with such talented and passionate leaders at NAAAP Toronto. As a former Director of Events, I had the chance to manage the main stage at the Waterfront Night Market – one of the largest weekend festivals in Toronto. Through this event I witnessed the dedication and commitment of each individual volunteer involved. I will not forget the experience, and I will use the skills and network that I developed in my future projects. I have truly enjoyed my experience at NAAAP Toronto and will continue to play an active role from across the border. Thank you NAAAP Toronto for two amazing and very special years.
